Studio Electric loudspeakers are designed and assembled in the United States using approximately 70% USA parts content.

At the heart of Studio Electric is a meticulous, hands-on process drawing from nearly 40 years in the speaker business. Extensive experience allows us to blend traditional design with modern engineering.

Our design philosophy is rooted in a commitment to sound reproduction that is both accurate and emotionally engaging. We draw inspiration from both classic British and East Coast traditions, while infusing our own expertise from years of live sound mixing and studio recording. We trust our measurement tools, but we also trust our ears.

We select components with care including our acclaimed 6.5-inch mid-woofer, which has undergone multiple refinements to achieve industry leading performance. Our crossovers feature custom capacitors made to our specifications, tight tolerance air core inductors and precision resistors, delivering seamless transition between drive elements. Cabinets are crafted in collaboration with expert cabinet makers — drawing on the rich heritage of Holland, Michigan’s renowned furniture and yacht industries—ensuring every enclosure meets the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.

Voicing: Our speakers are FUN to listen to. The final decision on speaker voicing is always based on subjective listening with a core question: "Are we feeling an emotional connection to the music, or are we just listening to audio equipment?”
